Know what's magical? Exploring the Coosa River in Wetumpka, AL with my family. We made our first stop at a kayak drop off point near the Coosa Dam. The scenery was gorgeous, and we even got to see some cool wildlife... er, wild-death?

| Sun-bleached alligator gar... I wanted to take it home with me! :(
After exploring the rocky shores awhile, we headed to Goldstar Park and had a relaxing picnic in the shade of some gorgeous cedar trees along the river. We walked the dog, sang some songs to my ukulele, and read books.
We finished our awesome day off at a local frozen yogurt shop, then my dad made some killer baby back ribs on the grill for dinner! THIS is everyday magic.
